It was a great week of Premier League football. After couple of days of outstanding football, Tottenham managed to stay at the top of the table with three wins in three matches. If Tottenham are looking the stronget, then Arsenal are looking the weakest. They are placed at no. 20 in the PL table, even behind the likes of Norwich City and other smaller teams.
Man City vs Arsenal (5-0): Arsenal's bottom position has to be credited to a 5-0 win against them by Manchester City. The London-based club has had the worst start to a PL season in 67 years. There's a buzz among the fans to remove Mikel Arteta, the current Arsenal manager.
Tottenham Hotspur is the only team that has won all of the three matches that they have played so far in the league. Spurs won 1-0 against Watford this week. In the last two matches, Tottenham had the same scoreline against Man City & Wolves.
Liverpool vs Chelsea (1-1): The Anfield game, that was said to be the best match of the week went down as a draw. Chelsea had taken a first-half lead, but a controversial red card and penalty right at the stroke of first half changed the dynamics of the game. Tuchel had to change his strategies and find a defensive approach for the second half. He used Romelu Lukaku very well as a counter attacking option keeping the defenders in check too. It was a good draw at the end for a 10-man Chelsea.
Wolves vs Manchester United (0-1): This match did not went like the way Ole Solksjaer would have wanted it to go. Nonetheless, United are 28 games unbeaten in away matches whihc is a new PL record and they would be awaiting the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo on 11 September against Newcastle. Thus, not quite a terrible result for Man U fans.
