Manchester: Manchester United have unveiled their new kits for the 2021-22 season. The new jersey has taken inspiration from its 1960s jersey. The same jersey that was worn by George Best and other legendary players.

The Manchester United official website has stressed the term 'Mancunian Way' and what it means for the club. "You can see the words ‘youth, courage, success’ on the new United home kit, which is said to be inspired by ‘the Mancunian Way’. And the history of our football club is very much about those three things," read the official website.

"The thee pillars of Manchester United's motto have brought the club more than a century of triumphs," the description reads. "With its clean red design and white ribbed crewneck, this adidas authentic football jersey takes inspiration from the iconic kit that carried them to some of their most memorable moments.

"Built to perform on the pitch, it combines cooling HEAT.RDY with lightweight details. A devil sign-off on the back shows your pride. This product is made with Primegreen, a series of high-performance recycled materials."

Usually, Manchester United reveal their jersey just a day before the start of the new season, but this time they changed the tradition and unveiled it a month before the start of the new season.

The 2021-22 season is set to begin from 14 August 2021. Manchester United have signed Jadon Sancho, the English star striker from Dortmund, and they are in waiting to sign another player. Perhaps, Raphael Varane from Real Madrid.

United finished second in the league last season. Will they go one up this time and finally lift the trophy after waiting for nine years?
