Medals are expected from Indian athletes on the third day of the Tokyo Olympics. In the women's 10m Air Pistol from 5.30 am, Manu Bhaker will go down to win the medal. So far, Manu Bhaker, who has won 9 gold medals in World Cup shooting, has won gold medals in Commonwealth Games as well as Youth Olympics.
Yashaswini Singh Deswal will also enter the same event, who has 2 gold medals in the World Cup so far. Divyansh Panwar and Deepak Kumar will go on to win medals in the men's 10m air rifle on Sunday morning. Divyansh is 18 years old and the youngest athlete in the country.
Mary Kom will enter the first round of the women's boxing flyweight event on Sunday morning. And PV Sindhu will also be on the court to play in the first match of the group league.
Indian players will be on the field to play against Australia on Sunday after beating New Zealand 3-2 in a hockey group league match.
Indian women's and men's table tennis players will play in the second round matches on Sunday.
In women's tennis, Sania Mirza and Ankita Raina will be on the court to play in the first round match.
