However, same cannot be said for Neeraj Chopra, as he was India's biggest hope for Gold medal at Paris Olympics 2024, but ended up bagging silver medal, with Arshad Nadeem breaking the all-time Olympics record to secure the Gold medal for Pakistan.

Honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, has congratulated Neeraj Chopra on his achievement, as the Indian athlete now joins Sushil Kumar and PV Sindhu as the third-Indian athlete (post-independence era) to win a medal in successive Olympic Games.
