Paris Olympics, Day 14: India managed to add another medal to their tally on Day 14 of the Paris Olympics 2024. It was the Indian wrestler Aman Sehrawat who was in action in the bronze medal match of the Men's 57 Kg category and he rose to the occasion to keep the trend of at least one medal coming from wrestling in every edition of the Olympics since the 2008 edition of the Summer Games.

With this India's medal tally increases to 6, with 5 of them being bronze medals and Neeraj Chopra being the only athlete to win a medal of a different colour. That nearly wraps up India's Olympics 2024 campaign a story of what could have been with several Indian athletes finishing fourth. Even though Aditi Ashok,  Diksha Dagar will be in action in golf, the possibility of medal in that event seems bleak.

In wrestling too, India will have representation with Reetika Hooda representing India in the 76kg freestyle wrestling but stats favour her opponent in the first bout. Let's see if she can pull a rabbit out the hat and better India's medal tally.
