Paris Olympics 2024: The Men's Archery team event produced two historic feats today, as South Korea have completed a hat-trick of Gold Medals in Men's Archery team event (Rio 2016, Tokyo 2020, Paris 2024). The other one was Turkey, who grabbed their first ever Olympic medal in the history of Men's Archery, as the side pipped China in a tightly-contested Bronze Medal match.

Hosts France stood no chance against South Korea, as the Asian nation have truly asserted and stamped their authority on Archery. The final scoreline read 5-1, as archers Kim Je Deok, Kim Woojin, and Lee Wooseok saw South Korea home.

A Bad Day For Indian Archers On Day 3

Indian Men's Archery team failed to qualify for the semi finals of the event, as they suffered a convincing defeat at the hands of Turkey in the quarter finals, and with that, India's hopes of grabbing a medal in team events of Archery is all but over.

The team of Dhiraj Bommadevara, Tarundeep Rai, and Pravin Jadhav managed to make it into the quarter finals, but Turkey had the likes of Mete Gazoz (who has been amongst Top 10 rankings in individual Men's Archery), Abdullah Yildirmis, and Berkim Tumer in their ranks, and were hence, better than the Indian contingents on Day 3.
