NBA 2023/24 Playoffs: Denver Nuggets have registered back-to-back wins against Minnesota Timberwolves to level the tie 2-2, as the reigning National Baaketball Association (NBA) champions won the Game 4 115-107. What makes the victory even more special is that both the wins have come on te home turf of Minnesota Timberwolves, who, before Game 3, were expected to do a historic 4-0 sweep in the 7-Game Series over defending champions at home. However, the home advantage did not work in their favour and a Nikola-Jokic inspired side showed immense domination on the court against the 3rd placed side in Wester Conference.
However, the most memorable moment of the Wester Conference semi final match came onthe buzzer of half-time, as Jamal Murray released his shot from half-line, with just a second remaining, and the attempt ended being an iconic 3-pointer, as that astonishing and outrageous attempt gave Nuggets a 64-49 lead at half-time.
It was a forgetful day for the Wolves, but a memorable one for Anthony Edwards, as the 22-year old continues his rapid rise in the ranks with yet another historic performace, as he registered a playoffs-career-best 44 points, but got no support from other Guards, as no other player managed to even reach 20-point mark.
Nikola Jokic: The Ultimate Clutch God Of Denver Nuggets
Nikola Jokic has been truly a blessing on Denver Nuggets, as the franchise recorded their first ever NBA championship last year, and the Serbian was the undisputed MVP of the tournament, as well as the Finals. This year, he is doing the same and after having a rare off-the-form matches in Game 1 and 2, the 29-year old has bounced back in style, as he registered 35 points, and formed a deadly partnership with the likes of Aaron Gordon and Jamal Murray in Nuggets' resounding victory.
