Manchester United vs Arsenal is one of the most followed football fixtures around the world. Cristiano Ronaldo's two goals once again asserted his importance in the side after a spell of goal-less games at Old Trafford for the Portuguese.

The second half was all about the momentum going from one end to another like a pendulum. Cristiano Ronaldo put United in lead in the 52nd minute but Odegaard's goal put Arsenal back in the game.
The match was sealed after Cristiano Ronaldo took a straight penalty in the 70th minute.
The penalty kick was Ronaldo's 801st goal. He has scored 5 goals with Sporting, 129 with Man United, 450 with Real Madrid, 101 with Juventus, and 115 with Portugal.
This match marked the end of Michael Carrick's United career. He was a club legend winning five Premier League trophies. His term as a caretaker manager also ended well with a win against Arsenal.
