The 14th season of IPL 2021 starts from today. The season opener of the cash-rich T20 League will be played between Rohit Sharma-led defending champs Mumbai Indians and Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai.

Due to the coronavirus epidemic, all the matches of IPL 2021 will be played in only six cities of India - Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.  The final match of this tournament will be played on 30 May.  This year, no team will get the benefit of playing a few games on their home ground.
