New Delhi: Tim David, who made headlines while playing for Mumbai Indians (MI) in the recently-concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, has reached England. It seems like David's fiery form has not diminished at all. The 26-year-old created havoc in the Vitality Blast T20 tournament. In the match played between Lancashire and Worcestershire, globe-tottering Aussie Tim David shone in the win for Lancashire by displaying barnstorming batting in England's T20 Blast.

Tim, who came out to bat at number six, hit 60 runs in just 25 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes at a strike rate of 240. He continued to bat till the 20th over. Eventually, he was caught by Charlie Morris on the second ball of the 20th over. David's batting heroics helped his team Lancashire (183/7) get a 12-run win over Worcestershire.

Punjab Kings' hard-hitting batter Liam Livingstone was also playing for Lancashire in this match. Both Livingstone and David were seen wreaking havoc for Lancashire with their batting. They both entertained the audience a lot with their hitting.  Liam scored 26 runs in 21 balls in this match.

Singapore-born Tim David was in amazing form in IPL 2022. He scored 186 runs in 8 matches for MI at an average of 37.20 and a strike rate of 216.28. Tim's strike rate of 216.27 was the highest ever in a single IPL season (min. 50 balls faced). His unbeaten innings of 44 runs in 21 balls in the 51st match of IPL against Gujarat Titans powered Mumbai to a win and also ensured RCB sealed a spot in IPL 2022 playoffs.
