New Delhi: On January 27, 2020, the India cricket team fans witnessed a brilliant fast bowler remembering his deceased father and saying how much he missed him during the day. Indian star paceman Mohammed Shami remembered his father on his third death anniversary as he shared an emotional post on his official Facebook account.

An emotional Shami took to the social media platform and wrote: "3 saal pehle Aaj k din mere hero mere god mere sab kuch jisne mujhe yaha tak Anne main himmat or halat se fight karna sikhaya aaj k din wo mere sath the nahi pata thaa dobara nahi mil paunga ????????????miss you papa. Allah unko jannat main jagah ata farmaye ameen."

Shami's father Tousif Ali had passed away after suffering a heart attack in 2017, forcing the cricketer to leave his rehab after recuperating from knee injury and rush to Amroha late night. At that time, Shami was with the team during the first T20 against England.

Shami, who is currently a part of the Indian squad touring New Zealand, is in good form and he bowled well to help India extend their lead 2-0 in the five-match T20 series . Team India defeated the Kiwis by 7-wickets in the second T20I at Auckland.
