The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 will be played today between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians will be aiming to make their comeback with a bang this time, after defeat in the IPL 2021 opener against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Ahead of tonight's clash against Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians got a major boost as their star opener Quinton de Kock can now finally join the team for tonight's important match.

Star player De Kock arrived in India from South Africa on 7 April. As per the IPL protocols, he had to remain quarantined for seven days. Due to this, Mumbai Indians had to play without De Kock in their match against RCB. However, his quarantine period comes to an end on 13th April i.e. today and he can take the field in the match against KKR.
In Mumbai's IPL opener clash against RCB, Chris Lynn opened the innings with skipper Rohit Sharma in the absence of Quinton de Kock. Lynn played a brilliant innings of 49 runs off 35 balls with the help of 4 fours and 3 sixes in this match. But with De Kock available, Lynn may have to sit out for tonight's match.
At the same time, Suryakumar Yadav is scheduled to play at number three once again. After this, Ishan Kishan can bat at number four, Kieron Pollard at number five and Hardik Pandya at number six. If needed, all-rounder Krunal Pandya can be sent up the batting order to score some quick runs.
Like their previous match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai can play with three fast bowlers against KKR. Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult are in the playing XI for sure.
South Africa's uncapped all-rounder Marco Jansen was very impressive in his debut match and can be picked as the third fast bowler. Responsibility of the spin department will once again be on the shoulders of all-rounder Krunal Pandya and Rahul Chahar.
