Mahendra Singh Dhoni left fans heartbroken after he announced his retirement from international cricket on 15th August 2020. While people were teary-eyed there were many speculations made on what is Mahi planning post-retirement.

After starting a poultry business, by ordering a batch of 2000 black Kadaknath chickens at his organic poultry unit located in Ranchi last year, 'Captain Cool' Mahendra Singh Dhoni is planning to enter an unchartered territory of vegetable exports. Dhoni has a 43-acre farmhouse located at Ring Road in Sembo village, Ranchi.

According to reports, Dhoni has been growing cabbage, tomatoes, strawberries, peas, and more on almost a 10-acre land in his farmhouse. The cabbages and tomatoes from this farm are said to have a huge demand in Ranchi's local market.

The report also adds that Farm Fresh agency has been finalised to sell the vegetables in UAE

The consignment of Dhoni's farm-grown organic food for the Dubai market is said to be in the final stage. The agency would not only sell these vegetables in the UAE but will also be responsible for distributing several fruits and vegetables in the Gulf countries. It is further reported that Jharkhand's Agriculture Department has taken up the responsibility to ship the vegetables to Dubai.

Dhoni’s farmhouse vegetables are already being sold in Ranchi through kiosks

Organic vegetables grown on Dhoni’s farm are already being sold in the market and customers are also fond of them. Like a regular businessman, Dhoni is relying on penetrating prices for market sharing. Penetrating price means initially selling any product cheaper than the market price. Despite being organic, cabbage and other vegetables of their farm are cheaper than the vegetables of the market.

The Daily Market is the wholesale vegetable market of the Jharkhand capital Ranchi. A little ahead of the fruit market, Dhoni’s kiosk is present in which the vegetables grown on his farm are being sold.

According to reports, Cabbage is being sold for only Rs 10 per kg while tomato is being sold for only Rs 30 per kg and if you buy a large amount you get the wholesale value. So the response of Dhoni’s goods in the market is excellent.
