The ball bounces of his boot towards the second slip where Vijay is ready to hop onto anything coming his way. England need to find a way out real soon.

#FIFTY Ravichandran Ashwin to Joe Root, FIFTY! FOUR! Root unfurls a reverse sweep through backward point for a boundary. This has been a fine knock by him.
A really good session for the Indians as they came in really hard with the bat and scored 52 runs in no time. Jayant Yadav got his maiden Test Hundred in his 3rd Test overall. Indians were really charged up when they came out to bowl. Bhuvi rattled out Jennings just on the second delivery of the 3rd innings. Jadeja bowls it outside off, the ball turns in sharply, Ali gets across and looks to clip it through. The ball flies quickly to Murali Vijay at leg slip who takes a sharp catch diving to his right. The Indian players mob Vijay who just stands in awe. He waits for a while before celebrating the wicket, a perfect session for India. They have a big wicket, Jadeja leads the team off the field. ENGLAND 2nd Innings
Kohli made his marathon innings really easy as he was running all day. Umesh and Bhuvi managed to score some quick runs in the end to get the Indian total to 631. The England bowlers were torrid with Rashid and Moeen Ali bowling nearly 60 percent of the overs. Root also chipped in with few and was rewarded with a couple of wickets like Moeen. Rashid managed to get four but he was hammered all round the park to get those. Can the English batsmen come in and survive the scares or will it be the Indian bowlers who come out on top?
Indians have ended up their 1st innings on a high, thanks to some incredible batting. Rahul got out real early and then Vijay and Pujara kept on going overnight with a 107 run-stand. Pujara got out just on the second ball of the day. Kohli came in and started off really well, scoring quickly. Vijay got to his hundred in style and he soon threw his wicket to Rashid. England spinners got some quick and cheap wickets of Nair, Ashwin and Patel.
#WICKET Adil Rashid to Bhuvneshwar Kumar, OUT! ALL OVER! Rashid bowls it outside leg, Kumar looks to slog sweep it over mid-wicket but fails to connect cleanly. The ball falls safely in the hands of Chris Woakes at deep mid-wicket. That ends the Indian innings. THEY ARE BOWLED OUT FOR 631! INDIA GET A LEAD OF 231!
#WICKET Chris Woakes to Virat Kohli, OUT! And Virat Kohli holes out! Bowls it outside off, Kohli looks to go over extra cover but does not quiet get the required connection. James Anderson gets under it and takes the catch. That ends a fine knock, but India have not declared yet. Kohli get a rousing applause, the England players go up to him to congratulate on the knock. The crowd is up on their feet as he pops off the ground. India lead by 215 runs!
#WICKET Adil Rashid to Jayant Yadav, OUT! MERRY ENDS! Tossed up outside leg, Jayant Yadav steps out and goes for a loft over extra cover but he totally misses the ball in process. Bairstow is quick to dislodge the bails in a flash. The beautiful innings of Jayant Yadav comes to an end with a really tired looking shot.
#HUNDRED Chris Woakes to Jayant Yadav, MAIDEN HUNDRED FOR JAYANT YADAV! Bowled short outside off and Jayant cuts it late through the gully region for a single. That's a really impressive innings by the youngster. Really kept his temper and calm to reach this milestone. He never looked out of sorts and India have certainly found a really impressive number 9 in their ranks.
173 overs: India 590/7. Virat Kohli 216(321) Jayant Yadav 98(192)
Welcome back for the second session of play! VIRAT KOHLI and JAYANT YADAV are out to bat. CHRIS WOAKES comes in for a bowl.
Day 4 Session 2
The English bowlers will be really disappointed as they got nothing going their way. How long will Virat and Jayant keep going? Or will there be a declaration soon? The game seems to have turned in India's favour. Catch us back soon with all the action after the lunch break.
A dominating session for the Indians where they did not lose a single wicket and scored at a really brisk pace. Kohli got to his 3rd double century with some brilliant display of shots all round the park. Jayant Yadav is looking better and better with the bat each passing day as he is inching towards his maiden Test Hundred.
#LUNCH
3rd double ton for Virat Kohli!
#DOUBLE HUNDRED Adil Rashid to Virat Kohli, Here comes the 3rd double ton for the maestro with a single. That was pitched again on the rough and he flicked it through mid-wicket for a single. A really well played knock by the skipper as he came out to bat when India needed someone to stick it out. He is just getting better every passing day and we have no idea where this legend is heading towards. Brilliant stroke play and temperament has made it look so easy on a tough wicket. One of his best knocks in his Test career.
163 overs: India 553/7. Virat Kohli 195(298) Jayant Yadav 81(158)
#PARTNERSHIP RECORD 150 partnership comes up for India and that's the highest 8th wicket partnership in Indian history. Virat Kohli and his men are taking cricket to another level.
155 overs: India 511/7. Virat Kohli 175(273) Jayant Yadav 62(132)
149 overs: India 486/7. Virat Kohli 158(258) Jayant Yadav 54(111)
2nd Test fifty for JAYANT YADAV.
143 overs: India 455/7. Virat Kohli 151(247) Jayant Yadav 30(86)
The players are out in the middle.
PITCH REPORT - Sunil Gavaskar says that Kohli's knock was extraordinary, his footwork was exceptional. Adds it will be difficult for the left-handed batsmen. Jadeja and Rashid need to hit the right areas around the leg stump, Kohli also looked brutal to that spot. The pitch is still not really bad as they have scored ample of runs in this match. He also mentions that there are few spots and the bowlers need to really hit the bogey if they wish to be effective.
Welcome folks for the Day 4 of the fourth Test match between India and England. India have taken the lead and are very well in top gear to post a decent lead. India will look to bat as long as possible to reach in a position where they don't need to bat much again. England on the other hand will try and get the hosts out as soon as possible so that they can equal terms and post a good total on board for the Indians.
