New Delhi: Team India's senior all-rounder Krunal Pandya and his wife Pankhuri on Sunday took to social media to announce the birth of their first child. To celebrate the special occasion with their fans and followers, Krunal and his wife shared a couple of photos on social media featuring their newborn baby. They also revealed the name of their baby. 'Kavir Krunal Pandya,' captioned Krunal his post on both Twitter and Instagram.






Krunal Pandya and Pankhuri Sharma tied the knot on 27th December 2017 after dating each other for more than a year. They have become parents after almost five years of marriage. For the unversed, Pankhuri had once revealed in an interview that she doesn't like to watch cricket, but she watches all the matches of Krunal Pandya.


Krunal Pandya made his debut in T20 International cricket in 2018.  Since then he has played 19 T20 and 5 ODI matches for the national team.


Krunal Pandya to play for Warwickshire in the Royal London Cup


The out-of-favour senior all-rounder Krunal Pandya has decided to participate in England's Royal London Cup One-Day-International Championship to return to form. He will play for English county side Warwickshire. The tournament will be played from August 2 to 23.


Krunal has decided to follow in the footsteps of Washington Sundar, who has also decided to play county cricket to get back in form. He has signed with Lancashire for the tournament. Krunal, Hardik Pandya's elder brother, has scored 2231 runs and bagged 89 wickets in 76 List A matches.
