New Delhi: The fate of the Board of Control for Cricket in India will be decided on Friday. The Supreme Court on Thursday gave one day ultimatum to the cricket body to accept all Lodha recommendations. BCCI will have to submit in writing its acceptance to recommendations. Failing to do so would see the current officials being replaced by group of administrators appointed by the Supreme Court.

However, the BCCI is reluctant to implement the recommendations, the sources say BCCI needs approval of 2/3 member associations to bring reforms, which seems impossible tasks to achieve in less than 24 hours.

According to the source, the BCCI will prefer to pull out of the International calendar if it is forced to implement new rules and regulations.

“There is no clarity on anything. The members have no idea how the board will be run. The BCCI is governed by the Tamil Nadu Societies Act and it is now clear that the Supreme Court does not recognize this act," a member association official told TOI.
