Ireland batsman Kevin O'Brien went on a six hitting spree, smashing eight towering maximums during a domestic T20 game between Leinster Lightning against North-West Warriors in the Inter-Provincial Twenty20 Trophy played at Dublin on Friday.

Incidentally one among those eight gigantic sixes smoked by Kevin landed outside the stadium and  smashed the window of his own car, which was parked in an adjoining car-parking area close to the ground.

Known for his pugnacious hitting all over the cricketing circles, O'Brien produced an absolute spectacle of power hitting, producing a whirlwind knock of 82 runs which came in just 37 balls for Leinster Lightning against North-West Warriors at the Pembroke Cricket Club .

"KEVIN O'BRIEN SMASHES SIX...and his own car window. Seriously," Cricket Ireland said in a tweet along with a picture of the vehicle.

After spearheading his team to a resounding win, the 36-year-old all-rounder drove the car straight to the garage to get the window replaced.

Toyota Long Mile, the dealership  tweeted: "Our SMASHING Brand Ambassador was straight in to us here Toyota Long Mile after his Man of the Match performance today for Leinster where one of his big hits managed to do this to his own back window!! Don't worry Kevin O'Brien we'll get it fixed up as good as new!!"

The big and burly Irish power-hitter replied: "Didn't need the air-con on the drive up to you lads. Unreal service once again. Never fails to disappoint. I'll park further away next time."

One of Ireland's greatest cricketers, Kevin O'Brien has represented his nation in three Tests, 148 ODIs and 96 T20Is in which he has scored 258, 3592 and 1672 runs respectively.
