As mentioned in Rule 13.7.3 of the IPL 2024 Match Playing Conditions, there is a spare time of 120 minutes or two hours to finish a match due to a rain delay. This rule also applied to matches in the league stage. In case of playoffs though, there is a reserve day in place.
There is a reserve day in place for each of the three IPL 2024 Playoff matches. However, in case the match cannot be completed even on the Reserve Day, then the team that finished higher on the league stage will proceed to the final, in case of Qualifier 1.
That essentially means, if there is no result for KKR vs SRH, Kolkata, by virtue of topping the points table will get a direct entry into the IPL 2024 Final which is scheduled on May 26 (Sunday).
