On Saturday, Delhi Capitals outplayed Royal Challengers Bangalore by 7 wickets, with 20 balls to spare. RCB posted a fighting total of 182 runs and that was easily chased down by Delhi in just 16.4 overs, kudos to Phil Salt’s sensational knock of 87 off only 45 balls. Even after Delhi played spoilsport to Virat Kohli’s homecoming, the RCB legendary batter was spotted in a fun mood as he talked to Ishant Sharm and other DC players after the match.

Ishant Sharma and Virat Kohli share a cordial relationship as both have played a lot of cricket together coming from the same town, Delhi. Their bond was quite evident at the Arun Jaitley Stadium after the DC vs RCB IPL 2023 match. A video has gone viral on social media where Kohli can be seen cracking jokes.

"It's the first time a lot of people would have seen me bat. A lot of Indian fans probably watching me for the first time if they don't watch other competitions," Salt told reporters.

"I feel like my goal ever since the auction was come here and win games, challenge myself among the best in the world, because realistically we know this is the best domestic league in the world."
