Ahead of the first IPL 2023 clash against Gujarat Titans, CSK all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has come up with a heartwarming message for all Gujarati fans. CSK took to its social media handle and posted a video, where Jadeja was seen requesting fans to come to ground and encourage the team.

“I would request the Gujarati CSK fans to come to the stadium and support us. Whistle Podu!,” said Jadeja.

“Post Covid, this is the first season where we are getting an opportunity to play in front of a fully packed stadium. And that’s a great feeling.”

“We recently played a Test match here against Australia and realised that the fans of Ahmedabad are quite passionate when it comes to their cricket. Especially, when they come out to support us, they completely change the atmosphere inside the stadium. And it feels good to have a stadium where so many fans come and support their home team”, he added.

The Rajkot-based allrounder also requested fans to support Chennai Super Kings at the world’s largest stadium.

“It’s a matter of pride that we have the world’s largest stadium here in Ahmedabad. So I would like to request all Gujarati fans to come and support CSK,” he signed off.

Jadeja started playing for the Chennai-based franchise back in 2012 and has been playing a vital role in CSK’s winning run in 2018 and 2021. He will be looking to emulate the same in the upcoming edition of IPL 2023. Earlier, CSK management added Akash Singh as a replacement for injured left-arm seamer Mukesh Choudhary, who is still recuperating from stress fracture.

Akash Singh was an integral member of India's Under-19 World Cup team in 2020 and has also represented Rajasthan Royals in IPL. The left-arm pacer has taken part in 9 T20s alongside 9 List A matches and five first-class games and has scalped 31 wickets.
