IPL 2021, DC vs SRH: Indian all-rounder, Vijay Shankar bowled a beamer to Delhi Capitals’ Captain Rishabh Pant. The commentators in the dugout, Greame Swann and Brett Lee were amused at the ball by Shankar. The ball slipped out of Vijay Shankar’s hand and went up in the air; this ball took a good few seconds to come down towards Rishabh Pant’s shoulders.

Vijay Shankar was trolled on social media for the same, take a look at some hilarious memes:

The Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) that makes the rules of cricket states in rule 41.7.1 that: “Any delivery, which passes or would have passed, without pitching, above waist height of the striker standing upright at the popping crease, is unfair. Whenever such a delivery is bowled, the umpire shall call and signal No ball.”

So, as per rules, had Vijay Shankar bowled another beamer, he would hv been barred from bowling in the remaining match.

Sunrisers Hyderabad managed only one win in their previous four games they have played so far. They were quite unlucky as well in the first two games. DC, on the other hand will look to continue their winning momentum. Their last game versus MI was an easy win for the team.

Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals have played 18 matches against each other so far out of which SRH has won 11 while DC has won 7 matches.
