While the team had finished last in the inaugural season with 2 wins from their 8 matches and a net run rate of -2.220, the worst among the five participating teams, this year too as things stand Gujarat find themselevs at the bottom of the points table, having lost both their matches so far.While Gujarat succumbed to a defeat against Mumbai Indians (MI) in their campaign opener, they then faced a defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their next fixture.
