SRH vs RCB Live Score Updates, IPL 2020 UAE: RCB Beat SRH by 10 Runs as Warner's team collapsed after Baristow's send-off. SRH looked to be on course at 121/2 with Jonny Bairstow looking set with a half-century, but a slide triggered by Yuzvendra Chahal, saw SRH lose their final eight wickets for 31 runs. Chahal finished with 3/18 while Navdeep Saini and Shivam Dube picked up two wickets each. RCB's innings was divided into two halves. After being put in to bat by Hyderabad they unleashed their new weapon in their arsenal, Devdutt Padikkal onto the field and he did not disappoint as he went onto give a brisk start to Bangalore and in the meantime went onto rake up his maiden Indian T20 league fifty. Finch gave him good company as the duo added 90 for the first wicket. But then came a slump as from 90/0 they went onto be 123/3. Kohli too departed and ABD took upon himself as he went for the hit and reached his fifty off just 29 balls setting a pretty well target of 165 runs for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Keep refreshing the page for updates.
Dale Steyn picks up the final wicket of Sandeep Sharma, and with it, RCB have beaten SRH by 10 runs to get their campaign off to a winning start. Well played, RCB! As for SRH, well, they’d have plenty of thinking to do in terms of batting.

Unfortunate for SRH fans as the captain lost his wicket standing at the non-striker’s end. A bullet straight drive from Bairstow had the ball clipping Umesh Yadav’s fingers before going on to hit the ball. Warner was caught outside the crease and with a smile on his face, heads back cheaply

With Virat Kohli falling at a crucial stage in the innings, just how much should RCB target from here on. With de Villiers still out there, anything between 170-180 is definitely on the cards. Shuvam Dube is the new batsman and he’s capable of striking big as well.
1st Innings, Royal Challengers Bangalore: 123/3 after 15.5 overs
Carved wide of sweeper cover. Full and wide outside off, down on one knee, and a gorgeous looking free-flowing aerial drive to that fielder's right

RCB’s two most prolific batsmen are out there and with the kind of start the team has got, will we see another partnership for the ages between Virat Kohli and AB de Viliers?

That is plumb. Two in two for SRH.
A full mix up and another drop! Oh SRH are falling apart. Nearly a collision too.

Clears midwicket. Dropped short but a bit more room this time and he latches onto that and turns it over the infielder. First boundary in nearly four overs

1st Innings, Royal Challengers Bangalore: 60/0 after 7.2 overs
It was only a matter of time. With RCB going after their bowling, David Warner had to turn to his champion bowler Rashid Khan. A couple of singles off his bowling to begin with.

And pumped way over midwicket!
Marsh to Padikkal, FOUR runs
Pummeled over his head. Friendly, floated full ball on off stump. Front leg clear, full face offered, and a brutal batswing
1st Innings, Royal Challengers Bangalore: 32/0 after 4 overs
Whipped to deep square's left! Short and up at his hips. Swivels and just turns it, long hands reaching out, and nails the connection. Fielder in the deep is diving desperately but cannot stop

1st Innings, Royal Challengers Bangalore: 20/0 after 3 overs
Full and swinging away from the corridor. Closes the face on that and taps it to mid-on's left for his first run. Not much of a stride, but he is a tall man
It will be interesting to see the match-up between Rashid Khan and RCB's dynamic duo of Kohli and AB de Villiers. Teams preferred playing out the leggie last year and that might prompt Warner to use Rashid in different stages of the innings.
A two-time winner of the Purple Cap, Bhuvneshwar Kumar had a pretty ordinary IPL 2019 with just 13 wickets from 10 matches. He was marred by injuries, which took a heavier toll during the World Cup and ruled him out for long. With a fresh season, Bhuvneshwar will look to once again emerge as the leader of SRH’s bowling unit.
David Warner has won the coin toss and he was quick in deciding to have a bowl against RCB.
Sandeep Sharma needs five more wickets to complete 100 IPL wickets. He has dismissed Virat Kohli six times in IPL.
Williamson has scored 262 runs vs RCB at an average of 65.50 which is the best among all the active teams in IPL.
-Kohli needs 100 more runs to complete 9000 T20 runs. He will become the 1st Indian to reach the landmark while being the 7th overall after Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, Brendon McCullum, Shoaib Malik, Warner and Finch.
Kohli is on the cusp of scaling a major milestone in the match up against Sunrisers Hyderabad. If Virat-led RCB register a win over SRH in their tournament opener, it will be Kohli's 50 win as skipper. Kohli will become only the third skipper in IPL history to have achieved the 50-win milestone.
Background
IPL 2020: Royal Challenger's Bangalore won their first match in the IPL tournament 2020 by 10 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad. It was a clinical performance by Virat's boys. THE RCB captain scaled a major milestone in the matchup against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Virat-led RCB registered a win over SRH in their tournament opener, and it was Kohli's 50 win as skipper. Kohli beacme only the third skipper in IPL history to have achieved the 50-win milestone.
The man of the match Yuzvendra Chahal was the star of the match and brought RCB back in the game. Though, after David Warner's early wicket, Sunrisers Hyderabad looked weak and but Jonny Bairstow did not worry about the fall-off wickets and went on smashing boundaries to take SRH till a decent score. Bairstow was in luck and was saved 3 times after which Chahal's spell did not spare him. Navin Saini also put up a great performance in the last overs and Viart's decision to give him the death overs was justified.
Chahal (3/18) removed the Englishman and Vijay Shankar in successive balls in the 16th over to tilt the game decisively in his team's favour. Bairstow perished in his attempt to hoick Chahal out of the park while Shankar had no clue about the perfectly placed googly.
That double blow led to a batting collapse, exposing Sunrisers' inexperienced middle-order. Mitchell Marsh suffering an ankle injury while bowling meant he came at number 10 and could only last a ball. Pacer Navdeep Saini (2/25) and Shivam Dube (2/15) also returned tidy figures but Umesh Yadav was expensive for RCB yet again, leaking 48 runs in four overs.
Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore gave an explosive start in their first match of IPL 2020. Padikkal's back to back boundaries and a quick half-ton gave a good build-up to the Royal Challengers Bangalore. SRH came back in the game after dismissing the openers Padikkal and Finch. It was a massive blow for RCB when captain Kohli left at 14. though AB De Villiers superman skills and half-century took RCB to 164/4.
AB De Villiers played a brilliant inning cracking 51 runs with just 29 balls and received the Unacademy crack it award.
Speaking Overall, Royal Challengers Bangalore looked stronger on paper and on-field while Sunrisers Hyderabad had a difficult road. With 2 important players, March and Rashid Khan injured during the match lead SRH to a weak position.
