SRH vs PBKS, IPL 2024: Prabhsimran Singh's Effort In Vain

After opting to bat first, PBKS posted a 200 plus total thanks majorly to Prabhsimran Singh's effort. The right-handed batter scored 71 off 45 balls and along with Atharva Taide's 46 off 27 and Rilee Rossouw's 49 off 24 set the foundation for a big score before stand-in captain Jitesh Sharma's cameo worth 32* off 15 aided Punjab to the total that they did.

All of that went in vain though as SRH got home despite losing Travis Head first ball of the run chase with Arshdeep Singh getting the left-hander out with a peach of a delivery to rattle his off-stump.

For SRH, the pick of the bowlers was T Natarajan who finished with figures of 2 for 33 off his 4 overs.
