IPL 2020, DC vs SRH Toss Update: Delhi Capitals Win Toss, Opt To Bat First Against Sunrisers Hyderabad At Abu Dhabi.

Today in the IPL, Delhi Capitals will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad. The team that wins tonight's Qualifier 2, will face Mumbai Indians in the final. Sunrisers have been uplifted by consecutive wins. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals had to face defeat against Mumbai in the Qualifier 1 match. Still on paper, DC is a very strong squad.
Delhi Capitals coach Ricky Ponting said recently that his team will play good cricket in the second round of the tournament. But this did not happen. After winning 7 out of the first 9 matches, Delhi have lost in the last 4 consecutive matches.

The biggest worry for Delhi's team is their top-order batsmen. Shikhar Dhawan (525 runs from 15 matches) has done well overall but failed to play big innings in the last few matches.

The team of Sunrisers has performed vigorously at the right time. At one time, they were placed at number 7 on the IPL 2020 points table and had won only 3 matches out of the first 9 games. But now the situation has changed

Sunrisers have won in the last four matches. Along with batting, the team is also doing wonders on the bowling front. SRH has allowed the opponent to score more than 150 only once in their last 6 matches.

IPL 2020, SRH vs DC Qualifier 2: What do the figures say?

In Abu Dhabi, the team batting after 8 out of the last 9 times has won.

Delhi Capitals record in playoffs is not good. They have lost 6 out of the last 7 playoff matches. The only win DC got was in the Eliminator match against Sunrisers last year.

Here's What Captains Said After The Toss

David Warner, SRH captain: You can see a few indentations on the pitch too and hopefully we can take some early wickets in the powerplay. We are supposed to win close games, and that was a kick in the backside to perform and we have performed well since then. We're playing the same team as the last game.

Shreyas Iyer, DC captain: We had two outings against SRH and I think this is a better outfield to bat against them. Putting on a good total would be a responsibility, and it's a good surface too. Rashid is an amazing bowler who can change the game. We have to be aware of him and play smartly. Pravin Dube and Hetmyer come in.
