And Rajasthan win. RR beat MI By 9 wickets. A dominant performance out and out, led by Jaiswal's unbeaten ton. It's Jaiswal who gets the winnings runs who show why they are sitting at the top of the table.
Hundred for Jaiswal who announces himself to form in some style, gets to the landmark off 59 deliveries.
Samson finding the boundary in the over. Not once but twice. Even Bumrah is leaking runs, it's that kind of a day for MI. 10 runs off the over. RR- 170/1 after 17 overs. They need 10 runs from 18 deliveries.
Bumrah Will Bowl Out.

Coetzee Back on but the match might have already slipped away from MI.
RR-151/1 after 15 overs. They need 29 runs from 30 balls.
Even Bumrah is going for runs. A no-ball, wide then being taken for a SIX and a boundary from who else but Jaiswal. The left-hander in his 80s now.
Bumrah returns for a third over.
It's Jaiswal who smashes a six once again. What a fine innings this is that is resulting in them dominating the contest. MI have themselves to blame, especially for those dropped catches.
Chawla will bowl out now for MI.
Another catch goes down as Tim David Drops a simple chance off Hardik Pandya's bowling to give Samson a life. RR- 123/1 after 13 overs. They need 57 runs from 42 balls.
MI need wickets but instead of Bumrah, Hardik has returned and conceded a six off Samson third ball.

Two Sixes In The Over. One from Jaiswal, the other from captain Sanju Samson. 15 runs coming off the over. RR-110/1 after 11 overs. Need 70 runs from 54 balls.
Dropped And SIX!. It's Wadhera who makes a mockery of that catch and instead parries it over the boundary ropes for a maximum. Jaiswal gets a life after having already smashed a four earlier in the over. 12 runs off that Chawla over. RR- 95/1 after 10 overs.
First Fifty Of the Season for Jaiswal. Gets there off 31 balls. A boundary and a single to get to the landmark.
Jaiswal returns to form and what an innings this is turning out to be for RR. Use of the feet against Nabi to get the maximum this time around. RR- 83/1 after 9 overs.
Samson In At 3 for RR.
Mumbai Indians have a breakthrough and it's the experience of Chawla that produces it. He may have conceded a boundary previous ball but he rattles the wickets of Buttler with a googly that beats the batter. 6 runs and a wicket off his first over. RR- 74/1 after 8 overs. Need 106 from 72 balls.
7 runs coming off the 7th over. RR- 68/0 after 7 overs. They need 112 runs from 78 balls.
No loss in rhytm or momemtum from Jaiswal. First ball he faces after break and it's inside out, along the ground for a boundary.
No Overs Lost. Mohammad Nabi to bowl first over after resumption.
OFFICIAL: Match will resume At 10:45 Pm (IST)
Rain interrupts play. And rain has interrupted play at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Covers are on. The rain had stopped for a while in between the but has returned which means we await an official confirmation as to when the play would resume.
What a powerplay this. RR have ended the fielded restriction at 61/0 with 17 runs coming in the final over. Yashasvi Jaiswal- 31* off 18, Jos Buttler- 28* off 18. 5 fours and a six off the bat of Jaiswal and 5 fours off the bat of Buttler. Some solid batting performance so far. Six Singles Off Thushara's first over. RR- 19/0 after 3 overs.
Nuwan Thushara for the first time in the IPL.
It's Jasprit Bumrah who gets to bowl from the other end. Only 2 singles off his 1st over. RR-13/0 after 2 overs.
Back-To-Back Boundaries off the bat of Buttler. First over mid-off before a shot that pierces the gap through the cover region for a boundary. RR- 11/0 after the 1st over.
It's Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal who come out to open for RR. They need 180 to win. Hardik Pandya to bowl the 1st over for MI.
MI finish at 179/9. Sandeep Sharma with figures of 5/18, the pick of the bowlers for RR. Only 3 runs and 3 wickets off the 20th over from Sandeep. For MI- the innings from Tilak Varma (65 off 45) and Nehal Wadhera (49 off 24) the only real positives. RR need 180 to win.
Five-Wicket Haul For Sandeep. David fails to clear the ropes. He is out caught instead as he completes a fifer.
Denies a single does David off the fourth ball.
David On Strike, 3 balls to go.
Sandeep Sharma gets two wickets off his first two balls of the 20th over. What a finish this is turning out to be for RR. Gerald Coetzee out first ball after Varma was caught at long on, trying to find the boundary. Varma fell for 65 off 45. MI- 176/8 after 19.2 Overs.
Avesh had been expensive in the game but produces a top notch penultimate over. Only 6 runs and a wicket from it. MI-176/6 after 19 overs.
Tim David will have a go with the bat now.
Hardik Pandya's Poor Form Continues. It's a full toss angling into him but he misses making any contact with it whatsoever. Ball smashes his pads and up goes the finger. Hardik reviews but even that can't save him. Avesh Khan gets the wicket. MI- 170/6 after 18.2 Overs. Hardik falls for 10 off 10.
9 runs off it. A boundary off the bat of Hardik, a couple and three singles. MI- 170/5 after 18 overs. Chahal- 1/48 after his 4 overs.
It was a great over until this point but Varma has managed to end the over with a maximum. MI- 161/5 after 17 overs. Boult finishes with figures of 4 overs, 2 for 32.
It's Hardik Pandya who has walked out to bat.
Boult breaks the partnership. He returns for a final over of the spell and makes an impact straight away as Wadhera falls for 49 off 24, ending a 99-run stand. Goes for the shot but couldn't get it past short third. MI- 151/5 after 16.1 Overs.
Back-to-back sixes off the bat of Wadhera. 20 runs off Chahal's over. MI-151/4 after 16 overs.
What an innings this. Gets to the landmark with a six off Chahal does Varma. Job not done for MI and the young guns.
Sandeep had returned for a third over but MI youngsters are set and are looking really good. A boundary each from the bat of Wadhera and Varma in that over as MI accumulate 11 runs. MI- 131/4 after 15 overs.
Precisely the kind of over MI were after. Wadhera's two sixes and in between a boundary from Tilak Varma. MI-120/4 after 14 overs. Avesh Khan concedes 43 runs off his 3 overs. Nehal Wadhera- 31* off 17, Tilak Varma- 43* off 34.
Half-century of the partnership comes up off 36 balls in the 14th over.
Gives away 5 runs off his final over does Ashwin. MI-101/4. He finishes his spell with figures of 0 for 31.
Two Boundaries In The Over. Is that the over MI needed to break the shackles? Both the boundaries coming off the bat of Tilak Varma and off short and wide balls which have been given the treatment by Varma. MI get 13 runs off the 12th over. MI- 95/4 after 12 overs.
It was another good over up until the last ball where Wadhera rocked back onto the backfoot and smashed a pull for a boundary. MI- 82/4 after 11 overs. 10 runs off that over from Ashwin.
Halfway Through the innings. MI- 72/4 after that 6-run over from Avesh despite a boundary from Tilak Varma off a scoop.
Avesh Khan will return for a second over.
First a FOUR off the bat of Wadhera against Chahal before Tilak goes down the ground for a six against Ashwin. 16 runs, 1 wicket coming off last 2 overs. MI- 66/4 after 9 overs.
Nehal Wadhera replaces Nabi who went back having scored 23 off 17.
Chahal into the attack and gets a wicket in first over itself. It's a LANDMARK WICKET NUMBER 200 for the leg-spinner. The first bowler to get to the feat. It's the delivery that slowed down from the spinner and Nabi gets into the shot a bit too early. Yuzi Chahal accepts a return catch with both hands. MI-52/4 after 7.3 Overs.
50 up for Mumbai Indians. Ashwin's first over goes for 5. MI- 50/3 after 7 overs.
Time for spin. R Ashwin into the attack.
The Afghanistan star goes SIX, FOUR, FOUR off successive deliveries. It was the last over of the powerplay and the first one for Avesh Khan. Good one for MI as they manage to get 18 runs off the over. MI- 45/3 after 5 overs.
Boult delivers a tidy over. Concedes only 6 runs off his third over. MI- 27/3 after 5 overs.
Mohammad Nabi is the new man for MI at number 5.
It's the big wicket of Suryakumar Yadav as Sandeep Sharma removes him first ball of his second over. SKY wants to play that on to the leg side but only manages to hit it up in the air. Powell has all the time in the world to get under the ball and complete the catch. Suryakumar falls for 10 off 8. MI- 20/3 after 3.1 overs.
Much-needed for MI as Suryakumar finds the fence twice in the over. First a drive on the up for a boundary off the second ball of Boult's second over before a late cut piercing the gap on the off side from SKY off the fourth delivery. MI get 11 runs off the over. They are 20/2 after 3 overs.
Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan are the two Mumbai batters out in the middle.
Ishan Kishan follows Rohit. What a start this from RR. Sandeep Sharma has produced an edge off the left-hander that goes into the gloves of Samson. On-field umpire called it not out but Samson went for the review straight away and the decision had to be overturned as Kishan had indeed nicked it. Sandeep Sharma strikes. Kishan falls for 0 off 3 balls. MI- 6/2 after 1.3 Overs.
Boult gets a wicket in the first over once again. Rohit tries to go for a big one but ends up skying it. Good catch from Sanju Samson as Rohit departs for 6 off 5 balls. MI- 6/1 after 0.5 Overs.
Rohit gets the first boundary of the evening off the second ball. He was squared by the away movement from Boult. Fortunately, it's all along the ground past the slips for a boundary.
Out come the MI Openers- Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan. It's Trent Boult with the new ball in hand for RR.

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the IPL 2024 fixture set to be played between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. It's the first match of the second half of the season for both the teams. Let's see who gets to a winning start on this occasion?
Background
RR vs MI Live Score, IPL 2024: It's the Rajasthan Royals (RR) up against the Mumbai Indians (MI) in Indian Premier League (IPL) on Monday (April 22). Welcome one and all to our live coverage of match number 38 of the seventeenth season oft the tournament as two former champion sides line up against each other. While it is MI who are the five-time winners of the competition, RR haven't won it since the inaugural edition in 2008.
IPL 2024 RR vs MI Live Score, Rajasthan Royals vs Mumbai Indians: When it comes to IPL 2024 though, it's a contrasting story altogether. RR are the team that are playing like champions. They have won 6 of their 7 matches already and are close to confirming a berth for themselves in the Playoffs. They are sitting at the top of the IPL 2024 points table. On the other hand, MI have 3 wins from 7 matches and are at the seventh place on the table with 6 points.
Rajasthan have found a way to cross the line this season again and again. The reason is that their middle-order has stepped up to the party. The bulk of the scoring may have still been done from Jos Buttler, Sanju Samsom and Riyan Parag but the contributions from Shimron Hetmyer and Rovman Powell have been equally crucial to the team's success.
Butter has an incredible record against MI and with Sanju Samson & Co. will hope that he can continue his form as the Men in Pinklook to strengthen their position at the top of the table. For Hardik Pandya's men, it would be a chance for a better second half of the league stage which can still propel them into the Playoffs and that too with momentum behind them.
In the reverse fixture, it was RR who beat MI by 6 wickets. Will it be a similar story this time around or have MI learnt their leassons? We shall find out together over the course of the next few hours.
