After a gritty knock form Suryakumar Yadav, speedsters Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult created a big impact by taking early wickets to power Mumbai Indians to a 57 run win against Rajasthan Royals at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi on Tuesday. Mumbai Indians put themselves on the top of the game right in the beginning of the second innings by getting three big wickets in just the first five overs.

Yashasvi Jaiswal opened the batting for Rajasthan along with Jos Buttler but Trent Boult struck early with a beauty to get Yashasvi Jaiswal edges it behind for in the very first over of the second innings.

Rajasthan Royals were in tatters as their skipper Steve Smith got an inside edge to Quinton d Kock off Jasprit Bumrah's delivery to dismiss the Aussie great out for just 6 runs.

Trent Boult struck again for the second time as he bowled a peach of a delivery to dismiss Sanju Samson for a duck. After creating havoc against RR, both Bumrah and Boult also cemented their spot in the IPL 2020 top-five bowlers list.

At the end of powerplay, Rajasthan Royals managed to reach 31 for loss of three wickets with Buttler and Mahipal Lomror in the middle looking to steady their team's sinking ship.

Not only the pressure to make quick runs increased but also the required run rate climbed to over 12 runs per over after first eight overs. The runs were not coming in easily for Royals and they desperately needed a big innings from star player Jos Buttler.

In the ninth over, Rahul Chahar dismissed Mahipal Lomror for 11, courtesy a stunning catch by the substitute Anukul Roy at extra-cover. Tom Curran was sent in ahead of Rahul Tewatia to create impact with the increasing run-rate. Meanwhile, at the halfway mark, RR reached 63/4 with Buttler going strong.

Soon, Buttler attained a 34-ball fifty by hitting his third six -- his 10th IPL half-century -- and he's kept Royals in this chase. James Pattinson got rid of Jos Buttler after a well-made 70-run knock as Kieron Pollard took a blinder at long-on to dismiss the dangerous RR batsman.

Tewatia and Tom were in the middle with 92 runs off 36 balls. Tom (15 runs off 16 balls) followed Buttler to the dug-out as Kieron Pollard picked a wicket against his name.

Jasprit Bumrah nailed yet another yorker to get the bails go flying and ensure no heroics were possible from Rahul Tewatia (5) today. Bumrah picked another one in the last ball of the same over to get Gopal edge a short delivery to de Kock and return back to the pavilion for just one run.

Jofra Archer, the next man in, played some solid strokes with as his batting partner Ankit Rjpoot but Archer holed out to Kieron Pollard at long-on to give Jasprit Bumrah his fourth wicket.

Earlier, Mumbai Indians won the toss and opted to bat first. Suryakumar Yadav's fifty and Hardik Pandya's fiery cameo powered Mumbai Indians to 193/4 against Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
