Ahead of Mumbai Indians' (MI) final IPL 2024 match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday (May 18), captain Rohit Sharma folded his hands asking the cameraman to mute the audio. Rohit was in a conversation with Dhawal Kulkarni when he asked the cameraman to stop recording or least mute the audio.

One of IPL's most successful captains, Rohit, also said that an audio from one of the previous videos had already landed him in a lot of trouble, referring to his viral chat with member of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) coaching camp Abhishek Nayar.

"Ek ek cheez change ho raha hai... . Woh unke upar hai, main ye sab pe dhyaan nahi data... (Everything is changing one by one. It depends on them, I don't care about that),"Rohit had said in a video posted by KKR which they deleted but only after the damage had been done.

In the video, it appeared that Rohit was talking about the situation at MI where he was replaced as the captain by Hardik Pandya ahead of IPL 2024.

"Jo bhi hai woh mera ghar hai bhai, woh temple jo hai na maine banwaya hai. (Whatever it is, it's my home. It's a temple that I've built)," he added.

Learning his lessons from the past incident, when Rohit spotted a cameraman during his interaction with Dhawan, he was quick to ask him to stop recording the audio.

Did Not Live Up To The Standard As A Batter: Rohit Sharma

After the match, Rohit said that he failed to live up to the standard as a batter in IPL 2024.

"As a batter, I know I didn't live up to the standard. But, after playing for all these years, I know that if I overthink, I won't play well," Rohit, who scored a blistering 68 in his last outing in IPL 2024, told JioCinema.

"All I try is to stay in a good mindset, in the right zone, keep practicing, and improve on all the flaws in my game. That's all I kept doing," he added.
