Punjab Kings are likely to consider retaining their in-form star pacer Arshdeep Singh, who delivered a remarkable performance in the T20 World Cup 2024. As an experienced fast bowler, he has been a key player for PBKS. Arshdeep finished as the second-highest wicket-taker for Punjab Kings in last IPL season, taking 19 wickets in 14 matches.


Sam Curran


Sam Curran had an impressive last IPL season, including serving as captain of Punjab Kings. He scored 270 runs in 13 matches with a strike rate of 123.28. Given his solid performance and leadership, Punjab Kings will most likely consider retaining captain Curran for the IPL 2025 season.


Shashank Singh


Given Shashank Singh's standout performance in 2024 IPL season, Punjab Kings may also consider retaining him. He made a huge impact with his explosive batting, playing key innings throughout the season. Shashank emerged as the top scorer for his team, amassing 354 runs in 14 matches at a strike rate of 164.65.


Ashutosh Sharma


Ashutosh Sharma had a standout debut season in IPL 2024, making history as the first Indian player to score over 100 runs in a season while batting at number 8. He accumulated 189 runs in 11 matches at a strike rate of 167.26, with an average of 27. Given his impressive debut, Punjab Kings might consider retaining him for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.

IPL 2025 Mega Auction is expected to take place between December 2024 and February 2025, though the exact date is yet to be confirmed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
