MS Dhoni is no ordinary cricketer. The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) enjoys a massive fan following and despite being a retired international cricketer for close to five years now, there hardly seems to be any dip in his fan following. Dhoni fans often push their limits to catch a glimpse of the wicketkeeper-batter and now with IPL 2024 likely to be the cricketer's final season in the competition with a mega-auction next year, a fan has led others to question whether being such an admirer of a cricketer is justified in the first place.

In a video going viral on the internet, the CSK fan could be heard saying that while he has paid a hefty sum of Rs 64,000 to watch Dhoni play, he is yet to pay his children's school fees. The clip has instantly gone viral on social media.

"I didn’t get the tickets, so I bought them in black. It was a total of Rs. 64,000. I am yet to pay the school fees. But we wanted to see MS Dhoni just once," the said fan can be heard saying in the viral video.
