It was for the first time in the history of IPL that 2 games finished as a tie. Also, it was an amazing day for cricket loving fans as they got to witness three Super Overs in a day, two of them in a single match.
After the scores were tied in the regulation game, KL Rahul and Nicholas Pooran came out for the Super Over for KXIP and for MI, Jasprit Bumrah bowled the super over. Pooran failed to deliver with the bat and got out without scoring any run. This was Pooran's second golden duck in Super Overs in IPL 2020. KL Rahul departed off the last ball and with this Mumbai were given a 6-run target for the win.

For Punjab, Chris Gayle and Mayank Agarwal got the job done with some fiery strokes and attain a super win for their team.
