The curtain-raiser of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is just a few minutes away. Whenever both the teams play against each other, it always turns out to be a fascinating contest and it won't be different even this time in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)! Last time, MI and CSK locked horns in the IPL 2019 finals.

'Thala' MS Dhoni was last seen in action in the World Cup semis against New Zealand. The two-time World Cup winner will return to the field for the first time today, after announcing retirement from international cricket on August 15 this year.

CSK has a great depth in their side whether it's the bowlers or the batting lineup, lead by one of the world's best skipper MS Dhoni, who has the ability to control almost everything that's going on in the game. The franchise also has some world-class spinners as well.

Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings are one of the most successful teams in the history of Indian Premier League. However, Rohit Sharma's team overshadows CSK if both the teams are compared based on the previous encounters. In the last five matches between the two teams, Mumbai Indians have attained victory in all the matches.

Interesting Milestones!

Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma needs to hit just six more sixes to attain the 200-six mark in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni can win his 100th IPL game as CSK captain if today his team beats Mumbai Indians in the tournament opener.

MI vs CSK, TOSS UPDATE: MS Dhoni-led CSK win toss, opt to bowl first in IPL tournament opener at Abu Dhabi.
