With MS Dhoni in his own words being in the "last phase" of his career, there is a craze cricket fans all over India to catch a glimpse of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper. Despite fans wanting him to go on and on, the fact remains that Dhoni will not continue forever especially after having already announced his retirment from international cricket in 2020.
Everything that Dhoni is doing on the cricket field is being watched closely by hundreds and thousands of fans. In one such instance, Dhoni was caught waving his hands during an IPL game and a picture of that has gone for viral on social media for the way which that gesture is similar to WWE star's iconic "You Can't See Me” gesture.
And now the wrestler has himself taken to Instagram to share the picture of Dhoni. He shared the picture before CSK's home match against Mumbai Indians, a contest which is one of the most celebrated rivalries in the T20 tournament between the league's most successful sides.
Here is John Cena's post:
The visual is from CSK's contest against Lucknow Super Giants. On-filed umpire had denied an appeal from Maheesh Theekshana and Dhoni seemingly wanted to convey how he was blinded from behind the stumps and couldn't properly spot his action.
CSK are on the top half of the IPL 2023 points tally at the moment but would want to finish in the first two so that even if they have an off day in Qualifier 1, they get another chance to reach the final.
As of now, they are third at the table with 11 points from 10 matches and are not yet guaranteed of a place in the final four.
