New Delhi: Covid-19 cases in the capital are on a rise, Tuesday recorded more than 300 deaths for a sixth consecutive day. In the wake of these growing cases, IPL team Delhi Capitals, along with Fever FM have launched ‘Project Plasma’ to encourage survivors to donate plasma and help save lives. A lot of cricketers are opting out of the IPL due to the growing Covid-19 cases. 


Delhi Capitals captain, Rishabh Pant also requested everyone to take precautions and also donate their plasma to people in need. “In the last few months, the number of Covid cases in India has gone up. I request everyone to not take this lightly and strictly follow the guidelines issued by the government and experts. It is important that you verify any information related to Covid relief and only then share it further. If you have recovered from Covid, please go and donate your plasma. As responsible citizens, it is our duty to help everyone around us. Stay safe, stay home”, said the skipper.



The plasma therapy uses blood from recovered Covid-19 patients to create anti-bodies in Covid infected patients. ‘Project Plasma’ by Delhi Capitals is encouraging people t donate plasma so that more and more infected people receive help.


Shikhar Dhawan, DC’s opening batsman uploaded a video on Instagram where he is heard saying: “So many people are running around in blood banks and hospitals to save their loved ones.
