IPL 2025: Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata Knight Riders finish their IPL 2025 Match 57 fixture with a 'No Result', as persistent rain prevented any sort of play at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday, May 17.

With the result, KKR's hopes of qualifying for the playoffs have all but vanished, as they can now attain a maximum of 14 points. Their final league game will be against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. SRH are already out of the competition, and will be aimimg to conclude their dismal season on a high.

Whereas for RCB, the result now puts them one step closer to sealing the Top 2 finish, as they now lead the points table with 17 points in 12 games.

PBKS will have a tough task at their disposal to win their remainder of the games, as RCB now hold a Net Run Rate advantage. Only Gujarat Titans can go past RCB if both sides win their remainder of the matches.

The result is now a huge boost to the likes of Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians, who can eliminate KKR from the race by winning merely 1 of their remaining fixtures.

Lucknow Super Giants are the other team that is still alive in the race of playoffs.
