IPL 2024 Full Schedule: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the full schedule for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. While earlier the schedule for the first set of 21 matches was announced as the organsiers were waiting for the dates of Lok Sabha elections to be announced, the full schedule for the seventeenth edition of the tournament was released on Monday (March 25).
CSK vs KKR The First Match Of Second Leg Of IPL 2024
The tourmament will restart with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) set to take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in match number 22 of the cash-rich league. Meanwhile, the biggest news fro, the second phase of the competition is that Delhi Capitals (DC) will play their remaining five home matches at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi after their first home fixtures were scheduled in Visakhapatnam in the first leg.
On the other hand, the PCA New International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur were Punjab Kings' (PBKS) began their season, will not be the venue where they will culminate their home campaign with Dharamshala being their other home stadium. Two of PBKS' home matches will be played against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the scenic stadium.
Ahmedabad And Chennai To Host IPL 2024 Playoffs
While Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium will host Qualifier 1 and Eliminator on May 21 and 22 respectively, the Qualifier 2 (May 24) and Final (May 26) will be staged in Chennai. CSK are the defending champions and the trend of the last year's winners hosting the IPL final in the subsequent season will continue with the MA Chidambaram Stadium hosting the summit clash of the competition on May 26.
