DC Vs RR: Delhi Capitals captain Rishab Pant has achieved a unique record by becoming the first player in the history of the franchise to reach triple figures in terms of appearances, as the swashbuckling southpaw makes his 100th appearance against Rajasthan Royals on Thursday, March 28. The Indian wicket keeper batsman first made an appearance for the side in 2016 and has been with the franchise ever since.
"It's great to play 100th match for this franchise. But I don't want to think much about it. Just trying to give my best and win game for my team," said Rishab Pant during the toss.
Rishab Pant won the toss and elected to bowl first against RR and had the following to say at the toss:
"We would like to bowl first. The wicket looks good. We wanted to use this wicket while bowling with the new ball and the dew may come later in the evening. Most of the concern will be the injury for us. If Ishant hadn't gone, we would have won the game. It was a close game. We will look to be at our best today. I think we have two changes because Ishant hasn't recovered yet fully and Shai Hope has back spasm. Anrich Nortje comes in along with Mukesh."
