Star Royal Challengers Bengaluru's all-rounder Glenn Maxwell offered insight into the playful nature of superstar batter Virat Kohli, mentioning that he sometimes has to remind the former India captain to behave according to his age. Virat Kohli stands out as one of the select few players in Indian Premier League (IPL) history to exclusively represent a single team throughout the tournament's duration.
RCB have begun the IPL 2024 season on a dismal note, suffering defeats in three out of their first four matches. Their recent setback was a 28-run loss against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
‘Funny Watching Him Bounce Around’
In an interview with ESPN Australia and New Zealand, Maxwell mentioned that he often finds himself reminding Kohli of his age, emphasizing that Kohli exudes a youthful energy reminiscent of a kid while on the field.
"He is like a kid in the field. It is so funny watching him bounce around. I have to sort of remind him to act his age every now and then because he is making me look bad as we are from the same age group. It's not going well if I am telling you that (laughs)."
