The 2024 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is currently underway in India. This happens to be the seventeenth edition of the cash-rich league. While IPL has gone on to become one of the biggest sporting leagues in the world it is largely because of the cricket-crazy people of the country as well as the fans of the sport worldwide who are one of the primary stakeholders of the game.

However, in what is not a good advertisement for IPL, an IPL fan has taken to social media to share his unpleasant experience at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. As per the fan, while he did have a Rs 4500 ticket with him for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) match but he had to watch the match standing. The CSK fan said that while he was allocated J66 seat number, when he did reach the J section of the venue, he found out that there was no seat number J66 with J65 followed by J67.

The user named Junaid Ahmed shared pictures and videos which backs his claim and instantly went viral online.

In a later post, however, the user said: "The missing seat was found in the innings break, between J69-70 ! Someone mixed it up."
