While most fans were closely watching the on-field action, a women decided to propose her boyfriend in the middle of the excitement of the GT-RCB game. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media in which the woman goes down on her knees before taking out a ring. The video has struck a chord with the netizens.
Happy visuals unfolded as the man accepted the proposal and the couple was seen hugging. Meanwhile, he also wears the ring presented to him by his girlfriend.

Talking about the match, while RCB had posted 197/5 in their 20 overs riding on a hundred from Virat Kohli (101*), GT chased down that total with 5 balls to spare, thanks to a splendid hundred from Shubman Gill (104*). The result meant RCB failed to qualify for the Playoffs as they needed a win at any cost to surpass Mumbai Indians (MI) on the points table.
Gujarat Titans (GT), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) apart from MI are the teams that entered the final four. While CSK have beaten GT in Qualifier 1 and reached the finals, GT await the winner of the Eliminator between LSG and MI to play Qualifier 2.
