The Delhi Capitals haven't had a great start to the season so far. While they lost their first match of their campaign against the Lucknow Super Giants by a margin of 50 runs in what an away fixture, they failed to change the result even in their first home game of this edition against the defending champions Gujarat Titans.

While Delhi would have ideally wanted their best players to be available for this game, star Australian player Mitchell Marsh is not playing this match against Rajasthan. This is because Marsh has travelled back home for his wedding and will be unavailable for the franchise's next few matches.

As a result, Delhi had to make three changes to their Playing XI. Manish Pandey, Lalit Yadav and Rovman Powell got a chance in the DC Playing XI in place of Mitchell Marsh, Sarfaraz Khan and Aman Khan. Abhishek Porel was the designated wicketkeeper. Even though Delhi did not name Prithvi Shaw in the initial XI, he is expected to be named as the Impact Player once the first innings comes to an end.

Meanwhile, while there were some concerns over Jos Buttler's finger injury, the England's white-ball captain is fit to play and has already helped the team off to a great start at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati along with Yashasvi Jaiswal after they were asked to bat first by DC skipper David Warner.

RR won their first match against SRH by 72 runs before losing their second game to Punjab Kings by 5 runs.
