Indian Premier League 2021 is still a week away but the predictions for the season have already started to come in. Fans and celebs are posting their prediction for the IPL 2021. In a social media post, New Zealand’s Scott Styris has predicted how the points table would stand and which team would acquire what position. He took to his Twitter to predict the eight positions of the eight IPL teams.
Styris feels Mumbai Indians would top the league again and have the maximum chance of winning the league. Again, just like last year, Delhi Capitals would finish second according to the New Zealander. Surprisingly, he picked Punjab to be at the third spot owning to the great Auction which they had this time around. Followed by Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders and finally Chennai Super Kings at number eight.
Here is the tweet by Scott Styris:
He feels Rajasthan Royals won’t be in the top 4 yet again. He predicted the number six spot for the 2008 Champions. But the RR Twitter account did not take this prediction very kindly. They replied Styris with a funny tweet that had a ‘Welcome’ movie reference. Check out the hilarious tweet here:
The Rajasthan Royals side will play their first match at the Wankhade Stadium in Mumbai against the Punjab Kings on 13 April, 2021.
