Indian Premier League 2021 will start from 9 April, 2021. The first match will be played between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore. The match will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. As per the new rules for IPL 2021, none of the teams would be playing on their home-ground as the IPL administration wants to cut on the travel due to the Covid-19 restrictions.

This year, the Mumbai Indians will take the field to do something unique. If they win the tournament, they will be the first team to win the IPL for three consecutive years. The five-time Champion, MI are set to go for the glory once again. MI will play their first game against RCB and they seem to be preparing rigorously for the match. Chennai’s temperature has been crossing the 35 degree Celsius mark and the MI team is practicing in the heat to get in the zone.

Mumbai Indians uploaded a video on their official Twitter account showing some snippets from MI’s training session. Have a look:

It was Rohit Sharma’s first day at the practice session. He was seen stretching, running and batting in the nets. Zaheer Khan and Mahela Jayawardene were alongside during the practice session.
