RR and DC go head to head in an encounter which is deemed as the clash of the young guns.
Background
IPL 2021, RR Vs DC: Indian Premier League so far has been a roller coaster of entertainment. Most of the matches have got over in the last over and to predict a winner pre-hand is a difficult task. Teams are much more balanced in IPL 2021. Two such balanced teams are Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals. RR vs DC will be played from 7:30 pm IST in Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium.
Delhi Capitals have Ricky Ponting in their arsenal who has been doing the thinking and who got the team in the final of last year's tournament. Rajasthan, on the other hand have made some changes in their side atfer the Auction 2021. They released some marquee players like Steven Smith.
What to expect?
It is bound to be a high-scoring game as Wankhade has no respite for the bowlers. Delhi Capitals will be without Kagiso Rabada and Nortje (who tested positive for Covid-19). Axar Patel and Ishant Sharma also miss out. While Rajasthan Royals also suffered a blow last match when they lost Ben Stokes for the entire season due to injury.
