IPL 2021: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star Andre Russell is known for his big hitting. But apart from that, he is also a character off the field. On Tuesday, the star all-rounder posted an image on his Instagram story. In the image he is seen posing with a bottle of Old Monk rum and the caption of the image reads: “It’s ok not to be ‘ok’”. He also wrote “Helps all the time”.

Andre Russell, who is fondly also called as Dre Russ has been in a good six hitting form in this IPL. His best performance came against CSK when his 54 in 22 balls almost helped KKR to win in an impossible chase against CSK. Andre Russell has been a part of KKR since 2014.
The picture is being shared widely on social media. People are amused to see Dre Russ with one of India’s affordable and most consumed alcohol, Old Monk.
Recently, Shahrukh Khan had tweeted an apology after KKR lost an easy match against Rajasthan Royals, to which Andre Russell had replied saying: "Yeah, I support that (Shah Rukh Khan) tweet but at the end of the day the game of cricket... you are not sure until it's over,” Russell said in the post-match virtual press conference.
On Andre Russell’s big hitting ability, MS Dhoni said ‘Not much you can really do’ about it. Kolkata Knight Riders rely heavily on their big all-rounder. They play their next match against Delhi Capitals on 29th April, 2021 at Ahmedabad.
