IPL 2021: The second half of Indian Premier League season 14 is set to begin next month. Virat Kohli's team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are also gearing up for the second half of IPL 14. With this, RCB has announced another replacement in its team. RCB replaced Australian pacer Ken Richardson with England pacer George Garton.

Garton is yet to make his international debut. But in domestic cricket, Garton is doing extremely brilliant. Garton has taken 44 wickets in 38 T20Is played so far. Apart from the ball, Garton also has the ability to show amazing performance with the bat. As a batsman, Garton has an average of 20.77 in T20 with a strike rate of 124.66.

Garton has got the chance to play in the world's most popular cricket league IPL for the first time. RCB issued a statement informing about the signing up of Garton in the team. RCB said, "George Garton will join the RCB family. He completes our quota for overseas players for the season.''

RCB replaces four players

Garton is not the first player to join the RCB team for the second half of IPL 14. RCB have previously included three more foreign players in the team. Due to the absence of Australians for the second half, RCB faced the challenge of replacing the players.

RCB, who have not won a single IPL title so far, has played brilliantly in the first half of IPL 14. Virat Kohli's team has won 5 of the 7 matches so far. RCB seem almost certain to reach the playoffs. RCB will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in Abu Dhabi on September 20.
