Mayank Agarwal's blazing century happened to be the second fastest ton by an Indian cricketer in IPL history .Agarwal who opened the batting with his skipper KL Rahul for KXIP stitched a record breaking opening stand of 183 runs against Rajasthan Royals.
The mammoth opening stand happened to be the highest ever opening partnership for Kings Eleven Punjab in this history of the league, surpassing the previous best efforts by Adam Gilchrist and Paul Valthaty's 136 versus the now-defunct Deccan Chargers (DC) in 2011.
