For Bumrah, Virat's wicket was also special because with this he also completed his 100 wickets in the cash-rich T20 league, becoming only the 15th bowler to do so. With the same dismissal he also scalped 200 T20 wickets and became the 6th Indian bowler to do so. What made it even more special was that Virat was also Bumrah's first wicket in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

To dismiss Virat, Bumrah bowled a short delivery at a speed of 143 kmph, which Virat skied in the air and gave a simple catch to Tiwari. Bumrah made Virat his victim for the third time in the IPL. Virat has so far scored 3 fifties this season.

Bumrah has become the 16th bowler to take 100 wicket in IPL. The record of taking the most wickets in the IPL is currently held by Lasith Malinga. Malinga has so far picked 170 wickets in the IPL. The Sri Lankan speedster has managed to take 170 wickets in 122 IPL matches. The Mumbai Indians veteran paceman is not part of the IPL this year but Bumrah is doing wonders for Mumbai Indians with his bowling.

Whichever team wins in today's match will reach the playoffs of IPL 2020. In this important match, Mumbai has decided to field first after winning the toss. RCB has kept Finch out of the playing eleven, with Joshua Philippe opening with Devdutt Padikkal.
