A case of the dreaded Coronavirus (Covid-19) has been reported in the house of former Indian cricket team opener Gautam Gambhir amidst growing cases of Coronavirus in Delhi. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Gautam Gambhir has given information about this on social media via his official account.


Gautam Gambhir has quarantined himself after this case. He said in the tweet that the Covid-19 virus has entered his house, due to which he has isolated himself from other members of the house. Gambhir has got his Covid-19 test done, although the result of his test has not come yet.

"Due to a case at home, I have been in isolation awaiting my COVID test result. Urge everyone to follow all guidelines & not take this lightly. Stay safe!" Mr Gambhir tweeted.




According to a bulletin issued by the Health Department of Delhi, 6,715 new cases have been confirmed in the national capital while the rate of infection during festivals and amid increasing pollution is 12.84 per cent.


This is the third consecutive day that the number of cases has crossed the six thousand-mark. The number of infected in Delhi has now crossed 4.16 lakhs. With the death of 66 more patients from this epidemic in the last 24 hours, the total number of deaths has reached 6,769 in Delhi.






After 47,638 new cases of Covid-19 in India, the total cases of infection in the country has crossed 84 lakh on Friday. With the recovery of 77.65 percent people, the rate of recovery of patients in the country has been 92.32 percent.
