The iconic player was greeted with lots of cheers as fans around the stadium in Vizag started chanting "Dhoni, Dhoni" as he came in to replace the departing Shivam Dube.
Dhoni introduced himself in some style as he dispatched his first ball for a boundary off Mukesh Kumar.
